The Izola-based band Argo, formed in 2019, consists of Andrej Črneha and Blaž Grgurović on guitars, Nino Filipin on vocals, Andrej Zidarić on drums, and Peter Meze on bass. As the members explain, the band was born out of a desire to play the music that shaped their youth. They present themselves as a coastal band with a playing style rooted in the 1990s.

“At first, we played cover songs, but the desire to create our own music soon led us to write original material,” says Črneha. Last October, the band recorded their first music video for the song Prav ti, shot at the iconic Izola nightclub Ambasada Gavioli.
