Katy Maurel, an Italian singer of Slovenian roots. She first performed at the age of three with her father’s band. She studied piano for eight years at the Trieste Conservatory. Later, she trained in vocal technique, which provided her with the foundation to begin teaching singing herself. Since 2001, she has collaborated with various pianists, guitarists, and ensembles, performing in prestigious venues known for high-quality live music. She especially enjoys performing in theatres. Her repertoire includes jazz, bossa nova, and pop songs.
