Rudi Bučar, a singer-songwriter and musician, has been fusing the musical traditions of his native Istria with contemporary melodies in a unique and distinctive way in his original compositions for two decades, making an important contribution to the preservation and dissemination of Istria's cultural heritage throughout Slovenia and beyond its borders, which places him in a particularly prominent position as an artist and creator. With his exceptional voice, after all, he graduated in jazz singing and arranging from the University of Trieste, his poetic creative expression, his sincere dedication and loyalty to tradition, Rudi has made his mark on the local music scene, enriching it with several albums and numerous compositions that have not only won festivals, but also continue to be part of his varied repertoire on the concert stage.
