Vital Jurca began his musical career at the Postojna Music School, where he completed 6 years of piano accordion studies with Professor Branko Petrovčič. During his secondary school years he switched from keys to strings and since then the guitar has been his indispensable companion. He has played in numerous ensembles, big bands, accompanied various choirs and soloists.
In 2014 he enrolled at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Tartini where he studied jazz guitar with Professor Riccardo Chiarioni. He has furthered his knowledge with many musicians such as Marko Čepak-Maki, Miha Petric, Russ Spiegel, Tim Miller, Nik Bartsch. He has accompanied and played in various ensembles such as the Cantabile Symphony, Tinkara Kovač, Jani Kovačič, Severa Gjurin. He has also played in Gal Gjurin's band.
Currently he is presenting his graduation project A day in a life, which consists of the quartet Bojan Volk (saxophone), Enos Kugler (drums), Nikola Matošič (double bass).
