Zmelkoow is a Slovenian rock/pop band from the coastal region of Primorska. The members are Goga Sedmak, Žare Pavletič, Aleš Koščak, Anuša Podgornik, Eva Brajkovič, and Aleksandra Čermelj. They are known for their unusual lyrics, ranging from simply »quirky« to downright »morbid«. Their first major hit was the song »Čau sonček!« from the album Kdo se je zbral?, while the broader Slovenian public came to know them in 1999 with the hit »Bit« from the album Dej, nosorog, pazi kam stopaš. Their manager is the cultural activist from Koper, Boris Furlan, known by the nickname Primitivc.
