Description:
The dance performance F.L.Y. is another personal inspiration of the writer, choreographer, and dancer Sabrina Huskić (Sabrina Mendez), transforming yet another part of her life, emotions, and reflections into a stage performance.
The story of F.L.Y. explores how, as children full of love and hope for life, we are often exposed to false hopes and beliefs that shatter when we encounter the reality of the adult world and its independence.
Understanding that we must stand up for ourselves and listen to our true inner voice can lead to years of searching and learning to live a better, more fulfilling life—a journey that is anything but easy in the rigid system and society we live in.
However, all the answers, validations, and love we seek externally are never as genuine as those we carry within ourselves.
This is why it is crucial to love ourselves, allow ourselves to prioritize our well-being, and set healthy boundaries. When we find ourselves searching fervently for love outside, we must remember that love always starts within us. And there, we find all the answers.
