Event: Solstice on Kaštelir

Solstice on Kaštelir

18:00 – gathering in front of the Cooperative House in Korte above Izola, followed by a guided tour of the Kaštelir Archaeological Park. The tour will be led by Dr Maša Saccara, museum adviser at the Koper Regional Museum.

19:00 – event on Kaštelir featuring:

a performance by pupils of Vojka Šmuc Izola Primary School,
a staging of the play The Lady with the Golden Earring,
the lighting of the fire and an offering to the goddess Eia.

In addition to the members of KTD Šparžin, PGD Korte and the Korte Local Community will also take part.

In case of rain, the event will begin at 19:00 at the Cooperative House in Korte.

The event will be held in Slovenian.
