A psychedelic odyssey across the vast expanses of the Moroccan desert that earned director Oliver Laxe the Jury Prize in Cannes.
A father and son arrive at a rave deep in the mountains of southern Morocco. They are there to find Mar—their daughter and sister—who disappeared months ago at one of these never-ending parties. Moving among the revelers, they show everyone a photograph of the missing girl. As their hope begins to fade, they still follow a traveling caravan into the heart of the desert, where the great final party will take place. Their mission gradually turns into something entirely different from what they first set out to do.
