During the Fishermen's Feast, Izola is full of the smell of fish and the streets and squares come alive with the sound of music. This true Mediterranean feast features well-known musicians, a revival of old traditions and a variety of sporting events. At every turn, visitors encounter unique experiences: the baptism of rowers, the old boat regatta and demonstrations of fishing crafts and equipment. The festival offers plenty of fun and delicious seafood - a recipe that has been attracting visitors from both near and far to Izola for decades.
