This year, the penultimate weekend in August will once again be dedicated to the Fishermen’s Festival.
There will be great music on two stages, excellent seafood to taste, and activities for children.
MUSIC:
The music programme will take place at two main venues, Veliki Trg and Lonka, from 9 pm to 1 am.

The event will officially open on Friday, the 22nd of August 2025 at 7.30 pm with a parade by the Izola Brass Band along Sončno Nabrežje to Veliki Trg.
CHILDREN'S CORNER:
There will be a Children's Corner for kids aged 2 to 10 in Pietro Coppo Park, with a lively programme of activities starting at 7 pm.
ADRENALINE AMUSEMENT PARK:
A children's adrenaline amusement park with bungee jumping, trampolines, a carousel and a little train will be set up in the Lonka car park and square. The rides will operate from 7 pm to 2 am on both days.
ISTRIAN MARKET:
On Sončno Nabrežje we will once again be showcasing various local product vendors. You will have the opportunity to meet winemakers, olive growers, artisans and cosmetic makers.
FOOD & DRINKS:
From 5 pm to 2 am you will be able to taste a variety of seafood specialities, enjoy sweet treats, and refresh yourself with cold drinks at the Lonka, Sončno Nabrežje, Veliki Trg venues and on the Northern Pier.
RAFFLE:
As is tradition, the Izola Handball Club and the Izola Volleyball Club will organise a raffle on the square opposite the Fishermen's Pier and in front of the Harbour Master's Office.
SPORTS PROGRAMME:
There will also be a sports programme on Saturday morning. The rowing and sailing regattas will take place in Izola's waters and will conclude with the baptism of young sailors and rowers at 7 pm on the Northern Pier.
