The Istria Marathon connects four Istrian cities - Koper, Izola, Piran and Ankaran. It is primarily a sporting event, but the organisers are also striving to make it touristic and sustainable, as it promotes a healthy way of life and spending free time in a clean and healthy environment, which Istria undoubtedly is.
