Lighting of the lights and the arrival of St Nicholas in Izola
The lighting of the festive lights will take place on Thursday, 5 December, at 17:00 in Pietro Coppo Park. On this special occasion, we will also be opening an ice rink in Izola, which will be almost twice as big as last year!
After the lights are illuminated, children will be delighted by the arrival of St. Nicholas. Anika Horvat will contribute to the festive atmosphere with her enchanting performance.
About the musician:
Anika Horvat is considered one of the most successful Slovenian singers at national music festivals. She rose to fame after winning the Melodies of the Sea and the Sun festival in 1996 with the song "May Night, Piran." She has also triumphed twice at the Slovenian Pop Song Festival, solidifying her place as a prominent figure in Slovenian music.
