The rhythms of entertaining music by the band Lisjaki will accompany us into the New Year; you’ll be able to sing and dance to many hits of Slovenian folk and pop music, as well as enjoy some evergreen melodies from our Croatian neighbors. Rock euphoria awaits fans of the legendary band Bon Jovi on New Year’s Eve, as a tribute band of the same name takes the stage.

Lisjaki:

The band Lisjaki was founded in the 2001/02 school year on the initiative of Sebastijan Mavrič, a teacher at Dragomir Benčič-Brkina Elementary School. Originally conceived as a music workshop, the group evolved into a Slovenian folk music band called Navihani Lisjaki. The original lineup included five members, later joined by three female singers. Over time, the boys started singing themselves, introducing polyphonic vocals.

By 2009, the lineup underwent several changes, leaving only the boys, who continued as a vocal-instrumental band. In 2011, they celebrated their 10th anniversary with a big concert and shortened their name to Lisjaki, releasing their first song, "Grande recesija." By 2015, they had recorded their first album and continued with other projects and performances.

Lisjaki participated in various festivals and received numerous awards, including for the song "Kdr bwš ratla mama." Despite lineup changes, the band has maintained its energy and creativity. Today, they delight audiences with a mix of Slovenian folk hits, evergreens, pop, rock, and songs from the former Yugoslavia, delivering unforgettable entertainment.

In case of bad weather, the programme will be cancelled.
