Šank Rock, one of Slovenia’s most recognizable and legendary rock bands, is coming to Hangar Bar in Izola. After more than four decades of making music, the band is opening a new chapter in its story – with a refreshed line-up, new energy and a return to the sound of its early days.

The concert will take place on Friday, 16 October, at 9:00 PM.

Founded in 1982, Šank Rock remains true to its distinctive combination of powerful rock energy, strong melodies and a direct connection with its audience.

Original members Matjaž Jelen, Cveto Polak and Aleš Uranjek are entering this new chapter together with two guitarists, Marko Zorec and Izola local Andrej Rot. With the return to a two-guitar line-up, the band is reconnecting with its musical roots and its characteristic powerful and melodic sound.

Visitors to Hangar Bar can look forward to an evening of Šank Rock’s greatest hits, fresh musical energy and authentic rock’n’roll.
