You are invited to a guided tour of the exhibition Secrets from the Waters, which reveals the richness of underwater cultural heritage and the stories hidden beneath the surface of Slovenia’s rivers, lakes and sea. The exhibition tour will be conducted in Slovenian by conservator Jaka Bizjak, a university graduate in archaeology.
The exhibition by the Institute for the Protection of Cultural Heritage of Slovenia, created with the support of the Ministry of Culture, is part of the first celebration of the International Day of Underwater Cultural Heritage, proclaimed by UNESCO in 2025.
During the guided tour, you will discover valuable underwater finds, learn about the importance of their research and explore efforts to preserve them.
