Workshop: Narrative Cooking and Stories of the November Sea
Location: Art Cafe Odeon
Organizer: Art kuha and Gajbla
Time: 10.00 am - 3.00 pm
Entrance fee: 20,00 €
Art kuha and Gajbla continue their joint series of sensory-creative storytelling workshops.
This time, they will weave a bridge between the October Storytelling Minifest in Izola and the November events in Koper and Piran.
The workshops are open to all explorers of stories and feelings, regardless of experience. Due to limited capacity, advance registration is required.
In the first part, participants will focus on theatrical and storytelling techniques and on the emotions awakened by the November seaside atmosphere. They will explore the scents, textures, and sensations that the coastal landscape evokes at this time of year and weave them into original stories.
The second part will be an experimental creative lab of sensory cooking, inspired by the perception of time and space and spontaneous imagination. Participants will follow their senses, improvisation, and intuition to create a shared multisensory experience where things themselves seem to talk, dance, and swirl.
The workshops are led by Samanta Kobal and Tanja Plešivčnik Zelenko, in collaboration with JSKD Izola and Koper and CKŠP Izola.
Applications are open until 10 November at info.kvart@gmail.com.
Participation fee: €20. The workshops are full-day sessions running from 10:00 to 15:00.
