On a guided tour of the old town, an experienced guide will lead you through stories you might easily miss during a regular walk – from Venetian heritage and fishing traditions to the small details that give the town its character.

This is not just a walk past the sights. The guide presents the town through people, events, anecdotes and the everyday life of Izola’s residents, making the tour feel personal, lively and authentic. It is suitable for anyone who wants to get to know Izola in greater depth, while still enjoying a relaxed and accessible experience.

During the one-hour walk, you will explore the picturesque streets of old Izola, pass the former fishing harbour and visit the town’s most important sights. You will learn more about how the sea, history, work and way of life have shaped the town over the centuries.
