Orange Wine Festival in Vienna: A Story That Became a Global Phenomenon
The Orange Wine Festival (OWF), which began as a local event in Izola, has once again proven to be one of the key international platforms for orange wine enthusiasts. The festival, which has gained increasing popularity in recent years, received an exceptional response at this year’s autumn edition in the Austrian capital, Vienna. More than 100 winemakers presented their wines, including several outstanding Slovenian producers.
The fact that this is an exceptionally interesting and relevant event is further confirmed by the visit of Vienna’s mayor, Michael Ludwig, and the Slovenian ambassador, Marko Štucin.

Our presence was once again an integral part of this year’s OWF. We presented ourselves at a stand under the Love Istria brand. We introduced visitors to the key events that will mark the year 2026, including top culinary and wine festivals and numerous opportunities to explore our cultural heritage.
