When Izola once again becomes Ice Island during the festive season, the town sparkles with thousands of lights and transforms into a true fairy-tale setting.

You are warmly invited to a festive walk through Izola, where we will guide you along the most picturesque streets of the old town centre – from Pietro Coppo Park all the way to the Church of St. Maurus.

The walk is suitable for everyone, as the route is easy, pleasant, and filled with warm, sparkling stories. Along the way, we will:

- learn how a brave dove once saved the town,
- discover traces of the Venetian Republic in Izola,
- find out how the sea shaped the life and character of Izola’s inhabitants,
- take a glimpse into the world of our nonne, who worked in Izola’s legendary factories,
- immerse ourselves in the festive lights that turn the town into a true icy fairy tale.

To make our time together even more playful, you can also expect a riddle or two along the way – just for fun, without competition or prizes, but with plenty of good cheer. The guided tour is intended for everyone who wishes to experience a festive seaside atmosphere, full of stories, legends, and authentic winter charm.
